From the late 1950s to the 1970s, most historians regard that time as the darkest period of China. However, some fantastic works were born due to the unique imprints of times and social characteristics. So, Cultural Revolution art has had a significant impact on the advancement of contemporary Chinese art. Until now, many outstanding artists are still making artistic creations for prototypes in this era. I hope this exhibition can convey Chinese contemporary art and remarkable history to the world.

Inspiration

In the past six months, we have often seen a lot of "terrible" news. The 2020 U.S. election has become an unusual event under the influence of COVID-19. Many people vent their emotions in powerful ways, which has caused a harmful social impact. What shocked me most was the news that Trump's supporters occupied Capitol Hill. This extreme patriotism reminds me of a similar history in my country-China-the "Cultural Revolution.”
